Job summary

Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution Ltd in Bathurst is seeking experienced aged care Carers for a casual role at our Bathurst Village. You will provide a wide range of personal care services, support residents, and participate in care planning under supervision.

The position requires a Certificate III in Aged Care, First Aid, police clearance, and eligibility to work in Australia. We offer competitive hourly rates and development opportunities within RFBI’s caring team.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Aged Care.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience in an aged care environment.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Valid police check clearance.
Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.
Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
Enter reports and observations into our computer program - iCare.
Assist and follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.
