Job summary

RFBI's Bathurst Village is seeking an experienced aged care Carer to join our dedicated team. You will provide a range of personal care services to residents, support daily living activities and work closely with the care team to deliver person-centred care.

Key requirements include a Certificate III in Aged Care, current First Aid, and eligibility to work in Australia. You will bring good communication, compassion and a proactive approach, with opportunities for career development and salary

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care required.
• Effective communication skills in writing and verbally.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment.
• Current First Aid Certificate and eligibility to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings and observe patients.
• Assist with medication delivery and record observations in the iCare system.
• Deliver person-centred care and follow directions of the Care Manager.
