Job summary

RFBI is seeking experienced aged care carers to join the Bathurst Village team. You will provide a wide range of personal care services to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living and basic clinical tasks.

The role supports person-centred care under a friendly, supportive management team. Applicants should have Certificate III in Aged Care, current First Aid, and be eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous aged care experience.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• Eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings and assist with medication delivery; record observations.
• Provide diabetes and arthritis care and other conditions as required.
• Enter reports and observations into iCare.
• Assist and follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.
