Job summary

Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution in Bathurst is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our care team in an aged care residence.

This casual leadership role involves advising staff, delivering high-quality resident care, and coordinating with the Care Manager. You will provide complex clinical care and participate in care planning to ensure residents’ dignity and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registered nurse (DIV 1).
• 2+ years of experience in aged care.
• Proficient with iCare (desirable).
• Understanding of WHS and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Coordinate with the team to meet residents' health needs.
• Provide complex clinical care including wound care and medications.
• Document observations and care plans in the computer system.
• Maintain resident dignity and wellbeing through tailored care.
