Job summary

Allianz Australia is seeking a Case Manager Level 2 – Workers Compensation in Charlestown. You will deliver high-quality service, determine entitlements, and support injured workers toward sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

The role requires experience in case management for personal injury or related mental health claims, with a focus on accurate processing, stakeholder collaboration, and proactive problem-solving in line with Allianz policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar case management role within personal injury insurance or interest in psychological and mental health claims.
• NSW insurance experience (NI/Insurance) is highly regarded.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver high quality services and positive customer experiences.
• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
• Ability to recognise, avoid, manage, and escalate conflicts to enable effective and timely resolution.

• Meet all internal and WorkSafe standards for claim processing, including mail management and accounts payment.
• Accurately determine liability and compensation entitlements using WorkSafe tools and internal resources, with a focus on recovery and supporting injured workers.
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes, ensuring liability decisions align with WorkSafe policies.
• Contribute positively to team goals by working collaboratively, assisting team members, escalating client issues for resolution, and complying with Allianz health and safety policies and procedures.

About The Role

• Meet all internal and WorkSafe standards for claim processing, including mail management and accounts payment, while adhering to Allianz policies, privacy, and record-keeping obligations.
• Accurately determine liability and compensation entitlements using WorkSafe tools and internal resources, with a focus on recovery and supporting injured workers through all aspects of the Personal Injury system.
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes, ensuring liability decisions align with WorkSafe policies and utilizing resources to determine entitlements.
• Contribute positively to team goals by working collaboratively, assisting team members, escalating client issues for resolution, and complying with Allianz health and safety policies and procedures.

About You

• Experience in a similar case management role within personal injury insurance or interest in psychological and mental health claims
• NI/Insurance for NSW experience highly regarded
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver high quality services and positive customer experiences.
• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
