Job summary

Drug and Alcohol Services Australia (DASA) invites applications for two Case Manager roles at Aranda House in Central Australia. You will guide residents through recovery, build relationships, and help them develop life skills and relapse prevention plans.

Essential criteria include case management experience, AOD knowledge, motivational interviewing, confidentiality, and resilience. A current Australian driver’s license and Working with Children clearance are required. A supportive team awaits.

Qualifications

• Case management experience with direct client support and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Strong knowledge of AOD recovery principles and client‑centred practice
• Motivational Interviewing skills and group facilitation
• Discretion and ability to build trust while maintaining boundaries
• Reliability and resilience working with vulnerable clients in a residential team setting
• Excellent communication, organisational, and case-note writing skills

Responsibilities

• Guide residents through the daily program from morning handover to evening wind-down
• Design and deliver individual treatment and relapse prevention plans
• Manage resident intake, induction, and ongoing case reviews
• Facilitate group therapy, community meetings, and cultural programs
• Keep case notes sharp and support residents with practical next steps like housing and job applications
• Work closely with the Service Manager, Meth Outreach Team and Aboriginal Outreach Team
• Join the on‑call roster (paid call‑outs)
