Job summary

HIA offers carpentry apprenticeships in Geelong and surrounding areas Newton and Lara for an immediate start. You will work with professional tradespeople and learn all aspects of your training and employment, gaining hands-on experience on construction sites.

You’ll be supported by a dedicated Field Officer, have access to PPE, and can benefit from a low-interest loan program and HIA member benefits as you progress through the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Willingness to complete the carpentry apprenticeship.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred.
• CI Card (white Card) or willingness to obtain prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of carpentry training and employment.
