Job summary

HIA Apprentices in the Coffs Harbour area is offering a carpentry apprenticeship with an immediate start. You'll work alongside professional tradespeople, learn all aspects of training and employment, and pursue a pathway to becoming a qualified carpenter.

We seek motivated, reliable individuals with a great attitude, who are willing to learn, attend site-based training, and commit to completing the apprenticeship. A valid driver’s licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Attitude towards work, motivation and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and becoming a qualified carpenter.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferable.

Responsibilities

• Learn carpentry trades on construction sites and training yards.
• Work with professional tradespeople to gain hands-on skills.

We have carpentry apprenticeships available in the Coffs Harbour area and surrounding suburbs of Grafton and Macksville for an immediate start.

You will get the opportunity to work along side professional trades people and you will learn all aspects of your training and employment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE:

• Be committed to finishing their apprenticeship and become a fully qualified carpenter
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport is preferable
• CI Card (white Card) or be willing to obtain prior to starting

You’ll receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.
