Job summary

HIA Apprentices in Forster seek enthusiastic 2nd and 3rd year apprentices to join our carpentry program. You will learn all aspects of carpentry on construction sites, guided by professional tradespeople, to build structures from the ground up.

You should have a great attitude, be self-motivated and willing to learn, with a commitment to completing the apprenticeship and becoming a qualified carpenter. A current driver's licence is preferred and CI Card (white Card) is required or obtainable

Qualifications

• Be prepared to learn all aspects of carpentry and training.
• Commit to completing the apprenticeship and becoming a qualified carpenter.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn carpentry on construction sites under supervision.
• Develop practical skills in building structures and installations.
• Receive support from HIA Apprentices throughout training.

Apprentice Carpenter – 2nd and 3rd Years

We have carpentry apprenticeships available in the Forster area and surrounding suburbs of Taree and Coomba for an immediate start.
