Job summary

HIA Apprenticeships in Ballarat is offering carpentry apprenticeships with immediate start. You will train hands-on, work with skilled tradespeople on construction sites and receive dedicated support throughout the apprenticeship.

You’ll learn all facets of carpentry, gain PPE, and have a clear pathway to becoming a qualified carpenter with the HIA. A driver’s licence and White Card are preferred. Applications welcome for learners under 21.

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete carpentry training and become a qualified carpenter.
• CI Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of carpentry training and employment.
• Work alongside professional tradespeople on construction sites.
• Attend site-based training and complete required tasks and assessments.
