Job summary

AJ Con PTY LTD has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team. We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking.

Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive environment. To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.

Qualifications

• Must be able to undertake physically demanding work.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Keen to learn carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Commitment and enthusiasm with genuine interest in carpentry.
• Eligible for apprenticeship? Australian citizen, permanent resident or full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters across framing, lock up and fix, external cladding and decking.
• Support busy crew in day-to-day carpentry tasks and project work.

• Ability to get to and from work independently

Preferred but not essential:

• Driver licence & Own car
• A white card
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship
• Own tools
