Job summary

Mamo Constructions in Ballarat is seeking apprentice carpenters to join our busy team and learn on-site under qualified tradespeople.

You will gain hands-on experience across framing, lock up and fix, external cladding and decking while developing practical skills in a supportive environment. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential, with a genuine interest in carpentry.

Eligibility requires Australian citizenship or working rights, and access to transport is preferred.

Job description

Mamo Constructions has an opportunity for apprentice carpenters to join the team.

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking.

Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive environment.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Be reliable and punctual
• Very keen to learn
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
• Ability to get to and from work independently

Preferred but not essential:

• Driver licence & Own car
• A white card
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship
• Own tools
