Job summary

Isaac Regional Council invites a proactive maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep and improvement of Council-owned facilities across the region. You will report to the Team Leader - Trades Services in a hands-on role that supports safety, presentation and functionality.

Job description

Isaac Regional Council is seeking a proactive and skilled maintenance professional to take pride in maintaining and improving Council-owned facilities across the region. Reporting to the Team Leader - Trades Services, this opportunity offers a varied and hands-on role where your work will directly contribute to the safety, presentation and functionality of Council properties while supporting the delivery of quality services to our communities.

Mandatory Qualifications – this role requires the possession of:

• Valid Drivers License
• Carpentry Trade Qualification
• Construction White Card (Construction Industry)

If you are successful in this position, you will receive:

• Salary $73,257.00 per annum (Stream C, Level BT1)
• Nominally 76 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday)
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
• RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
• Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
• Tool of Trade Vehicle
• Fit for Purpose Subsidised Council Housing $80.00 Per week, pending availability
