Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in carpentry or building maintenance.
• Current NSW Construction Induction White Card.
• Driver's license and ability to provide own tools and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Completing carpentry repairs and general building maintenance.
• Carrying out minor plastering, patching, basic tiling and other repairs within your skills and qualifications.
• Assessing maintenance issues, identifying required repairs and reporting any additional work needed.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and undertaking make-safe work where required.
• Planning and completing assigned jobs efficiently, with attention to detail and quality.
• Following work health and safety procedures and maintaining safe, tidy work areas.
• Travelling between client sites across Newcastle and the Central Coast.
• Providing clear progress updates and completion details to the administration team.
• Communicating professionally with clients, occupants and other trades.

Job description

You will carry out a variety of carpentry, repair and building maintenance tasks, responding to client requests and helping keep properties safe, functional and well maintained.

Key responsibilities

Completing carpentry repairs and general building maintenance.

Carrying out minor plastering, patching, basic tiling and other repairs within your skills and qualifications.

About you

A relevant trade qualification, which will be highly regarded.

Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.

A current NSW driver's licence and a suitable, reliable vehicle.

Your own tools of the trade and vehicle

A current Construction Induction White Card.

Flexibility to work occasional weekends, after hours and public holidays when required.
