Hunter Homes seeks an experienced Carpenter to join our residential construction team across the Hunter region and surrounding areas. You will perform framing, fit-outs and finishing, read construction plans, and ensure work meets standards and safety requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a NSW Carpenter Licence and Construction Induction White Card, with a valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between our offices, display homes, and building sites.

Role Location: Hunter and surrounding regions

As a valued member of our team, your duties include, but are not confined to:

• Providing your carpentry skills to the Hunter, Upper Hunter and Mid-North Coast.
• Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, fit-outs, and finishing.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, tradespeople, and apprentices to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe and functional condition.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the experience in the following areas:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential construction.
• Relevant trade qualifications and certifications.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Technology skills (Emails, SMS, MMS, Web)

• Successful candidates will hold a current NSW Construction Induction White Card & Carpenter Licence. The ability to follow instructions, keen attention to detail, physical fitness, and enthusiasm are crucial attributes for this manual labour role.
