Job summary

Murray Constructions Pty Ltd in Deniliquin, NSW 2710, is hiring a full-time Carpenter to join a dynamic civil construction team. You will work on formwork, timber structures and concrete-related components across regional projects.

The role requires a Certificate III in Carpentry and 2–3 years of relevant experience. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per annum, plus superannuation, with a strong safety focus and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• 2-3 years’ relevant experience working as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience in formwork construction, structural carpentry and concrete construction would be highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and technical specifications.
• Sound knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, tools and construction techniques.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, shape, assemble and install timber and plywood components.
• Experience using a range of hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and construction site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Studying construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine carpentry requirements, material quantities, dimensions and installation procedures.
• Constructing, erecting and installing timber and plywood formwork for concrete structures, including bridge components, footings, columns, beams, headstocks and other structural elements.
• Constructing and assembling temporary timber structures, support systems and framework required for civil construction and concrete works.
• Building, installing and dismantling formwork systems to ensure accurate dimensions, alignment and structural stability before concrete placement.
• Constructing and erecting structural frameworks, platforms, flooring systems, access structures and other carpentry components required for construction projects.
