CELL PROJECTS Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter for a permanent, full-time role in Granville, NSW 2142. You will construct and maintain formwork and timber structures to support concrete works on building projects.

The role requires reading drawings, measuring to exact levels, assembling formwork systems, and coordinating with reinforcement and concrete crews while maintaining safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Carpenter.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and work accurately to measurements and levels.
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and safe construction work practices.
• Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret building plans, specifications and drawings to determine formwork carpentry requirements for concrete structures.
• Measure, mark, cut and shape timber, plywood and other materials for formwork and temporary structural supports.
• Assemble, erect and secure formwork systems for concrete slabs, beams, columns and walls.
• Install and align timber frames, bracing and supporting components using hand and power tools.
• Inspect completed formwork for correct dimensions, levels, stability and compliance with project specifications.
• Dismantle formwork safely after concrete curing and prepare reusable components for subsequent construction stages.
• Coordinate formwork installation sequences with reinforcement and concrete crews to support project schedules.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas, identifying defects and arranging appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Follow site safety procedures, participate in pre-start discussions and report hazards or workmanship concerns.

Position Overview: CELL PROJECTS Pty Ltd - Specialists in formwork, reinforcement and concrete works, delivering structural construction solutions across building projects. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, installing and maintaining formwork and associated timber structures to support concrete construction. This position requires accurate workmanship, practical problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to site safety.
