Job summary

Imaging Solutions is looking for a hands-on carpenter or apprentice to join our specialised healthcare construction projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will contribute to MRI room builds, shielding installations and precise fit-outs on hospital environments.

Ideal candidates are recently qualified or 2nd–4th year carpentry apprentices with a can-do attitude, willingness to travel for installation work, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Qualified carpenter or currently completing a 2nd-4th year carpentry apprenticeship.
• Able to read construction drawings or willing to learn.
• Experience using a wide range of power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Radiation shielding installations.
• Lead-lined walls, doors and windows.
• Specialist timber framing and fit-outs.
• Installation of proprietary shielding systems.
• Cabinetry, finishing and internal fit-out work.
• Medical Storage.
• Site preparation and project installations.
• Working alongside electricians, mechanical contractors and project managers.
• Travelling to customer sites across Australia and New Zealand when required.
