Job summary

Southern City Bathroom Renovations in Bunbury, Western Australia, is seeking two experienced carpenters to join our long-established, family-owned team. You will read drawings, measure and prepare timber, and build wall frames, roofs, floors, doors and frames for renovations and new builds.

We offer a reliable Monday–Friday schedule, a fully equipped workplace with tools and PPE supplied, a company vehicle for site travel, superannuation contributions, and four weeks of paid annual leave.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant carpentry work experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Southern City Bathroom Renovations We are seeking for two experienced carpenters.

We are a long-established family-owned company located in Bunbury Western Australia. Southern City Bathroom Renovations offers a comprehensive renovation service from start to finish, including the stripping of the bathroom, plumbing and electrical pre-set out, floor preparation, design and laying of ceramic tiles on floors and walls, plumbing and electrical fit-out, and painting doors/frames and untiled walls in both new buildings and renovations.

As a carpenter you are required to perform the following skills: Read plans and drawings to work out measurements, materials and job requirements. Select and prepare timber and other materials needed for each job. Measure, cut and shape timber and other materials, and assemble components as required. Build and install wall frames, roof framing, sub-floors and floorboards, making sure all work is level, square and properly aligned. Fit fascia boards, roof sheeting, external cladding, doors and window frames. Assemble and install timber structures, fixtures and fittings. Cut and form timber joints for framing and other carpentry work. Build and install formwork for concrete works when required. Carry out repairs and maintenance to existing timber structures, fixtures and fittings. Work with other materials such as laminates, Perspex and metal where required.

Job Benefits:

• Salary: Competitive annual salary starting from $79,423, including 4 weeks of paid annual leave.
