Job summary

Churches of Christ, Residential Aged Care – Warwick is seeking reliable Kitchen Hands for casual shifts to support residents in a warm, home-like environment.

You will assist with meal preparation, serve meals, keep dining areas clean, and follow food safety guidelines. Flexibility for day and afternoon shifts, and current Police Check or willingness to obtain is required.

We offer competitive casual rates with 25% loading and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or hospitality (aged care desirable).
• Good communication and respectful approach with residents and colleagues.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work across day and afternoon shifts.
• Hold Australian work rights - sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Serve meals and set up/clean dining areas, trolleys and trays.
• Follow food safety, infection control and WHS guidelines.
• Clean and maintain work areas to required hygiene standards.
