Job summary

RFBI is seeking experienced aged care carers to join our Kurri Kurri Village team to provide a wide range of personal care services for residents. You will be part of a supportive care team in a leading, award-winning not-for-profit aged care provider.

Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, basic clinical care, wound dressings, medication delivery, and accurate recordkeeping in the iCare system.

Qualifications

• Experience in an aged care environment.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom residents; assist with meals and bed making.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings; assist with medication delivery and record observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions as directed.
• Enter reports and observations into the iCare computer program.
• Follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.

We are currently seeking experienced aged care carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Kurri Kurri Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
