Job summary

RFBI in Kurri Kurri is seeking experienced aged care carers to join our village team. You will provide personal care services to residents, support daily living activities and contribute to a warm, person-centred care environment.

We are a long-standing, not-for-profit aged care provider delivering high-quality services. Applicants must have current First Aid and be eligible to work in Australia, with a compassionate, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care and daily living assistance.
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations.
• Current First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressing, assist with medication delivery and record vital signs.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into the computer program (iCare).
• Assist and follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.

Position Information

We are currently seeking experienced aged care carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Kurri Kurri Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
