Job summary

RFBI is seeking an attentive Aged Care Carer to join our Benhome Village team in NSW. You will support residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities, while contributing to individualised care plans and accurate record-keeping.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, demonstrate strong communication, and have prior aged care experience. First Aid certification and eligibility to work in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in an aged care environment
• An enthusiastic and motivated approach
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
