Job summary

ACAP University College, part of Navitas, is seeking a Careers & Employability Advisor to support undergraduate and postgraduate students with career planning and learning resources in a hybrid environment. You will deliver one-on-one coaching, develop scalable content, run workshops, and partner with academic and professional staff to create meaningful employability opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in career education or equivalent in a higher education context.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding student and/or client experiences in a career development and/or planning context.
• Knowledge of career development theories with awareness of graduate outcomes and employability literacies.
• Experience delivering workshops and presentations (in-person, online and hybrid).
• Familiarity with working and collaborating across teams in a hybrid working environment.

• Stay updated with job market trends, industry requirements, and employment opportunities

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in career education or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience in a higher education context
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding student and/or client experiences in a career development and/or planning context
• Knowledge of career development theories and practices with an awareness of and ability to support (1) immediate graduate outcomes, (2) professional readiness, and (3) employability literacies for life
• Experience delivering workshops and presentations (including in-person, online and hybrid events)
• Familiarity with working and collaborating across teams in a hybrid working environment
