Job summary

BUSY At Work in Noosa is seeking a dedicated Mentor to support Workforce Australia clients. You will create development plans, coach jobseekers and help them secure sustainable employment, education or training. This full-time fixed-term role runs to June 2027 with potential extension.

Based in our Noosa Office, you will assess barriers, refer clients to services, provide interview coaching, budgeting help and resume support while guiding participants toward current vacancies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in creating development plans and following up on progress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt to audiences.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no outcomes.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in coaching/mentoring are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed action plans that establish employment and lifestyle goals.
• Motivate and empower clients through their employment journey.
• Identify and develop client capability and provide appropriate referrals.
• Maintain regular contact and provide ongoing support to clients.
• Lead the community education through self-guided workshops.
• Record all actions with required documentation within timeframes.
