Job summary

Workskil Australia is seeking an Employment Coach to help diverse customers set and reach their work goals within our Fremantle site. You will deliver coaching, prepare quality resumes, and connect clients with housing, mental health and financial supports as needed.

The role offers comprehensive training, ongoing mentoring, and the chance to study for a Certificate IV in Community Services within the first 12 months, supporting your career and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to achieve individual targets and meet KPIs.
• Strong admin skills and IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Assist diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges.
• Deliver coaching to improve employability skills, confidence and career planning.
• Prepare quality resumes, cover letters and support job applications.
• Find suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocate on their behalf.
• Refer customers to internal and external housing, mental health and financial counselling.
• Provide mentoring and support during the first six months of employment.
