Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking a compassionate Job Coach to help clients grow and pursue meaningful employment. You will empower clients to build confidence, develop job-readiness skills and connect them with opportunities.

You’ll collaborate with employers and our Employer Engagement team while maintaining compliance and accurate records, ensuring supported placements lead to sustainable outcomes.

You will join a values-driven team that supports diversity and inclusion across communities.

Qualifications

• No prior Employment Services experience required; full training provided.
• Customer service or client-facing experience preferred.
• Genuine interest in helping people overcome barriers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and coach clients through tailored activities that support their employment journey.
• Work with employers and our Employer Engagement team to connect clients with suitable job opportunities.
• Help secure sustainable employment outcomes and provide support when clients are at risk of losing work.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to link clients to the right programs and services.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets compliance requirements.
