Breakthru Brisbane is seeking an empathetic Employment Services Specialist to support clients with disabilities and health conditions, helping them plan and secure meaningful work. You will build relationships with job seekers and employers, tailor plans, and coach candidates toward sustainable careers.

You will collaborate with local services, meet KPIs, and maintain accurate records while championing inclusive, person-centred practices.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) - desirable
• Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
• Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
• Current Driver's License - essential

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to plan their career steps and help them find appropriate jobs
• Build relationships to understand goals, strengths, and support needs
• Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain progress
• Connect participants with upskilling opportunities and hands-on experiences
• Collaborate with employers and community services to create employment pathways
• Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks
