Breakthru is recruiting a Career Coach to support individuals with disability, injury or health conditions across Queensland. You will guide job-readiness, build confidence, and help clients prepare applications and interviews. You’ll connect people with upskilling and collaborate with employers to create pathways to employment.

The role emphasizes empathy, strong coaching, and relationship-building to empower clients toward meaningful careers within a fast-paced, client-first environment.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (desirable).
• Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with clients as they plan their next career steps, providing support to find the right job along the way.
• Build strong relationships to understand each client’s goals, strengths, and support needs.
• Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
• Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group-based activities.
• Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.
• Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
• Champion Breakthru’s values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
