Job summary

Care Worker – Casual role at Uniting NSW & ACT in Springwood (Blue Mountains). $36.23 per hour plus casual loading and super. We’re looking for qualified carers to join our residential aged care home and support residents with dignity, choice and independence.

You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living, build relationships with residents and families, and work with the team to ensure high-quality care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or equivalent).
• Experience in aged care or similar settings is preferred.
• Availability across AM, PM and Night shifts; flexibility is highly valued.
• A warm, respectful and team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for aged care.

Responsibilities

About the role

As a Care Worker, you’ll be at the heart of what we do — providing safe, respectful and person-centred care that supports residents’ wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

You’ll assist with:

Location & transport

The home is located in Springwood (Blue Mountains). It’s around 1km from the train station, so own transport is helpful (though not essential).
