Job summary

Uniting in Springwood is seeking a qualified Casual Care Worker to support residents in a compassionate, person-centred way. You will provide personal care, assist with meals and daily living tasks, and work across AM, PM and Night shifts in our residential aged care home. Join a supportive team in a caring community.

Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent and prior aged care experience are preferred, with commitment to resident dignity and rights. Casual hours with loading and super.

About the role

As a Care Worker, you’ll be at the heart of what we do — providing safe, respectful and person-centred care that supports residents’ wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

You’ll assist with:

• Personal care, meal-times and daily living support
• Building meaningful relationships with residents and families
• Supporting residents’ rights, dignity and individual choices
• Working collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality care
• Maintaining accurate documentation and following care plans

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or equivalent)
Experience working in aged care or similar settings
Availability across all shifts (AM, PM, Night) — flexibility is highly valued
A warm, respectful and team-focused approach
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for aged care

Location & transport

The home is located in Springwood (Blue Mountains). It’s around 1km from the train station, so own transport is helpful (though not essential).
