Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking dedicated carers to join our Aged Care Team and support residents daily. You will provide care, companionship and personal assistance to help maintain independence and improve quality of life in our aged care home.

Responsibilities include daily living tasks, assisting with medication and wound dressings, and supporting residents in social activities. We offer competitive hourly rates up to $36.23 p/h plus casual loading and super, along with a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.

Who we’re looking for

• Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• You’ll have previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you’re studying or have recently become qualified.
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
