Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care – Liverpool NSW is seeking compassionate care workers to support older Australians in their own homes. The role involves visiting multiple client locations across Liverpool, Fairfield, Bankstown and surrounds, assisting with daily living tasks and providing respectful, person‑centred care.

This permanent part-time position requires availability Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, with Friday availability essential.

Qualifications

• Australian Driver Licence required and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication skills, resilience and patience.

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients across Liverpool, Fairfield, Bankstownand surrounds, you will be required to travel between multiple client locations throughout these service areas as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

This is a permanent part-time role. To meet the needs of our clients, we are seeking candidates with availability Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, Friday availability essential. Flexibility within these hours is highly valued, as shifts may vary based on client requirements.

How We Support You

To support you from your very first day, we provide:

• Earn $34.42/hr (unqualified) - $36.23/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients

What You'll Bring

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email. You have a caring nature, strong patience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s day.
