Job summary

MSWA is seeking a Care Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence and wellbeing. You will work as part of a dedicated residential team, building genuine relationships and helping create a safe, welcoming environment.

This casual role offers shifts across Butler Accommodation with opportunities to work across other MSWA locations, plus access to health initiatives, EAP and discounts, ongoing

Qualifications

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain) is required.
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding and mobility assistance.
  • Assist residents with medication administration and monitoring.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Assist with catheter care, enteral management and basic wound care.
  • Encourage participation in activities that promote inclusion and independence.
  • Report and document changes in resident wellbeing and health status.
  • Maintain accurate records and resident documentation.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

About the Role

As a Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing. Working as part of a dedicated residential team, you'll build genuine relationships with residents and help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Must-Haves
