Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a Casual Care Service Employee for the Maroubra Junction facility. The role involves assisting residents with personal care, supporting meals, and engaging residents in meaningful activities under the supervision of registered staff.

Applicants must hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support and have at least 1 year of experience in an aged care setting. We value compassion, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.

You will be responsible for:

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support (Mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Aged Care Facility
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the aspirations and needs of frail older people
• Ability to set and maintain high standards in the provision of quality care and support services
• Ability to provide quality care and support to frail aged people
• Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Providers.
