Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a caring professional to support residents with personal care, meals, and meaningful activities in a residential aged care setting. You will contribute to care planning with registered staff and document the services provided to residents.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support and at least 12 months of experience in an aged care facility, with a commitment to high-quality care and compliance with state and federal

• Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support is required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in an Aged Care Facility.
• Ability to maintain high standards in quality care and support.

You will be responsible for:

Assisting residents with personal care including showering

Supporting residents with meals

Contributing to care planning with registered staff

Documenting care and services provided to residents

Engaging residents in meaningful activities

Requirements:

Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support

Minimum 12 months experience working in an Aged Care Facility

Ability to set and maintain high standards in the provision of quality care and support services

Ability to provide quality care and support to frail aged people

Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Providers.
