BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Permanent Part Time Carer at Dorothy Henderson Lodge in Sydney. You will support residents with warmth, dignity and professionalism, assisting with daily living tasks and promoting a safe, person-centred environment.

The role offers 48 hours per fortnight across AM/PM/middle shifts, with weekend availability. You’ll be part of a compassionate team delivering high-quality care and meaningful engagement for residents.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, or be working toward completion
• Experience in residential aged care or similar
• Competence in personal care, mobility and manual handling
• Strong commitment to person-centred care and resident dignity
• Good communication skills and ability to build warm, trusting relationships
• Reliable availability across weekdays and weekends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for documentation and care plans
• Positive, respectful and empathetic approach

About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated Permanent Part Time Carer to join our team at Dorothy Henderson Lodge. In this role, you’ll support residents with warmth, compassion and professionalism, helping them live well every day. You’ll build meaningful relationships, assist with daily living tasks, and contribute to a safe, person-centred environment.

This position offers 48 hours per fortnight, with a mixture of:

• AM shifts - 7:00am to 3:00pm

• PM shifts - 3:00pm to 10:00pm

• Middle shifts - 9:00am to 5:00pm Rostered across weekdays and weekends.

About You

You bring compassion, patience and a genuine desire to support older people. You thrive in a team environment and have the practical skills to deliver safe, high-quality care.

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, or be working toward completion
