Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Care Worker to provide in-home support across Junee and surrounds. The role involves assisting with daily activities, household tasks, and companion care, travelling between client locations, and maintaining client dignity and independence.

Permanent part-time position up to 30 hours per fortnight with Friday availability. You will need an unrestricted Australian driver licence and a reliable vehicle to transport clients, plus smartphone familiarity to access

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients across Junee and surrounds you will be required to travel between multiple client locations throughout these service areas as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

Permanent Part-time (up to 30 hours per fortnight) opportunity with Friday availability required.

How We Support You

• Earn $34.42/hr (unqualified) - $36.23/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients

What You'll Bring

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email. You have a caring nature, strong patience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s day.
