Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Care Worker for At Home Services in Sydney. You will travel between multiple client locations across Inner West, South East and Eastern Suburbs, providing in-home care including personal tasks and household support to help clients live independently.

The role is permanent part-time, offering up to 60 hours per fortnight, with access to development and a supportive supervisor. Applicants must have an unrestricted Australian driver's licence and own vehicle.

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients across Sydney and surrounds (Inner West, South East and Eastern Suburbs, Sutherland Shire/Miranda) you will be required to travel between multiple client locations throughout these service areas as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

This is a permanent part time role offering up to 60 hours per fortnight.

How We Support You

• Earn $34.42/hr (unqualified) - $36.23/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients

What You'll Bring

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email. You have a caring nature, strong patience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s day.
