Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) to lead Clelland Lodge in Nowra as Care Manager. You will oversee clinical care, support staff development, and champion resident choice, dignity, and meaningful connections in a home-like environment.

You will ensure compliance with aged care standards, drive clinical quality improvements, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to optimise wellbeing for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care and knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated clinical and people leadership skills with ability to coach staff.
• Compassionate, hands-on leader with commitment to resident wellbeing and clinical excellence.
• Ability to multitask with shifting priorities and maintain composure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a positive culture for the team aligned with Fresh Hope Communities’ values.
• Oversee clinical care on shift and address gaps to ensure timely resolution and excellence.
• Foster resident-centred care meeting physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to optimise resident wellbeing and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality standards.
• Work closely with the Facility Manager and Clinical Services Manager in leadership of the home.
