Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is recruiting a Care Service Employee to support residents at Clelland Lodge in New South Wales. The role focuses on holistic care that prioritises health, wellbeing, and community connection, with morning, afternoon or night shifts and competitive hourly rates.

You will assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and dignity, work with a caring team, and have access to fully funded vocational training to become Medication Competent if desired.

Qualifications

• Have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care).

• Relevant experience in providing care services within the residential aged care environment.
• Knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to aged care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• A Current National Criminal Record Check suitable for aged care or NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Ensure respect for resident rights, dignity, and choice through understanding of their story, and the tailoring of routines and preferences for each individual person.
• Ensure the provision of high-quality support in maintaining residents mobility and personal hygiene (showers, toileting, oral health) according to individual resident needs, strengths, choices & preferences.
• Ensure collaboration with team members to address the underlying causes of changed behaviours and provide appropriate interventions.
• Proactively model the Fresh Hope Communities' Values in all interactions with the team, stakeholders, system users, and external parties.
• Proactively contribute to the development of a collaborative, high-engagement, high-communication team culture focused on resident-centred care.
• Available for afternoon and night shifts
