Job summary

Redstone Recruitment is seeking an experienced Care Manager for a residential aged care home in Cairns. You will provide clinical leadership across the home, working closely with the Facility Manager to support a dedicated clinical and care team and deliver high-quality resident care.

The role focuses on governance, compliance and team development to achieve positive resident outcomes, with relocation support available for the successful candidate. Strong RN leadership in aged care is essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in residential aged care.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Understanding of clinical governance and regulatory requirements.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical leadership across the home and ensure high standards of resident care.
• Oversee Clinical Team Leaders, Registered Nurses and care staff to improve resident outcomes.
• Drive clinical governance, compliance and staff development in collaboration with the Facility Manager.
