Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking an experienced Aged Care Leader to join the management team of a 100+ bed residential aged care home on the Central Coast. You will report to the Facility Manager and share clinical leadership with another Care Manager to deliver safe, person-centred care.

This senior, hands-on role focuses on developing people, maintaining high care standards and driving continuous improvement, with strong support from a national organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• Strong residential aged care clinical experience
• Leadership experience within an aged care environment
• Strong knowledge of care planning and clinical governance
• Experience with AN-ACC, audits and continuous improvement
• Strong communication, coaching and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting Registered Nurses and care teams
• Coaching, mentoring and developing clinical capability
• Overseeing resident assessments, care planning and clinical reviews
• Supporting AN-ACC processes and accurate clinical documentation
• Leading clinical audits, risk reviews and continuous improvement
• Reviewing incidents, complaints and changes in resident condition
• Maintaining strong medication management and governance
• Supporting complex care including wounds, pain and palliative care
• Working with GPs, allied health professionals and residents' families
• Maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
