Job summary

Estia Health in Victoria seeks an experienced Residential Aged Care Manager (RACM) to lead clinical operations with a strong nursing background. Reporting to the head of the home, you will enhance resident wellbeing, mentor staff and ensure high standards of care and compliance.

You will oversee budgets, care programs and day-to-day clinic management, while building strong relationships with families and the broader team. Nursing leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• 3+ years in nursing management at ward level or above.
• Experience in managing people and budgets.
• Background in aged care and resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Look after residents and nurture relationships with their families.
• Train the next generation of carers and nurses.
• Oversee clinic operations, stock, compliance and reporting.

About The Role

Reporting into the head of the home, known as the Residential Aged Care Manager (RACM), you'll draw on your clinical background to improve every aspect of our residents' wellbeing.

As Second In Command, You'll

• Look after residents and nurture the relationship with their family
• Train up the next generation of carers and nurses
• Oversee your clinic, from stock to compliance and reporting
• Develop clinical care programs, making them the best they can be
• Help financially manage the home

You’ll be an honest and ethical leader, with a hunger to learn and challenge yourself. You’ll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Qualifications as a registered nurse and current AHPRA registration
• At least 3 years in a nursing management role, at ward level or above
• Experience in managing people and budgets
• A background in Aged Care
