Job summary

Estia Health in New South Wales, Sydney area, seeks a Residential Aged Care Manager (RACM) to lead clinical care and drive resident wellbeing. Reporting to the Home Head, you will draw on your nursing background to elevate care and service delivery.

As second in command, you’ll supervise the clinic, train carers and nurses, manage budgets, and collaborate with residents’ families to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years in a nursing management role at ward level or above.
• Experience in managing people and budgets within aged care.

Responsibilities

• Look after residents and nurture the relationship with their family.
• Train up the next generation of carers and nurses.
• Oversee the clinic, from stock to compliance and reporting.
• Develop clinical care programs and drive quality improvements.
• Assist with financial management of the home.

About the Role

Reporting into the head of the home, known as the Residential Aged Care Manager (RACM), you’ll draw on your clinical background to improve every aspect of our residents’ wellbeing.

As second in command, you’ll:

• Oversee your clinic, from stock to compliance and reporting
• Develop clinical care programs, making them the best they can be
• Help financially manage the home

You’ll be an honest and ethical leader, with a hunger to learn and challenge yourself. You’ll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Qualifications as a registered nurse and current AHPRA registration
• At least 3 years in a nursing management role, at ward level or above
• Experience in managing people and budgets
• A background in Aged Care
