Job summary

Ozcare Atherton Branch is seeking part-time Care Assistants to support clients across the Atherton area. You’ll provide personalised care, assist with daily living activities and help clients maintain independence.

A current Police Check, Certificate III in Individual Support, vaccination proof, and a valid Queensland driver’s licence are required. Benefits include salary packaging, uniform allowance, paid kms, a smartphone, and EAP support.

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care.
• Current Police Screening Certificate is required.
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates and vaccination proof (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Pertussis).
• Good computer & mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support to clients per care plans.

Our Ozcare Atherton Branch is looking part-time Care Assistants to support our clients across the Atherton area.*You need to be living in the Atherton Area*

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements

• Current Police Screening Certificate

• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B, Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
• Good computer & mobile device skills
