Job summary

Advara HeartCare is seeking a Cardiac CT Radiographer for our Doncaster clinic. You will deliver high-quality cardiac CT services, working with a team of radiographers, registered nurses and admin staff to ensure timely, accurate examinations in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues to uphold patient safety, provide detailed image analysis, and support efficient rosters and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the AHPRA and a current EPA radiation licence.
• Experience in Cardiac CT imaging is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through IT, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cardiac CT examinations (including CT Coronary Angiography, Structural Heart CT scans and Calcium Scores) to patients.
• Perform careful and accurate analysis of imaging, including vessel tracking on GE AW Workstation; relay urgent findings to reporting cardiologists.
• Perform administrative functions to ensure examinations are completed in a timely manner.
• Liaise with Administration staff to ensure clinical lists and appointments are utilised effectively.
• Implement quality processes and suggest improvements to systems, processes, workflows and workloads.

In this role, collaboration is key.You'llcollaborate closely withfellow Cardiac CT Radiographers, Registered Nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination of rostered lists,maintainingourhigh standardsof patient care with timeliness and professionalism.

You’ll Make a Meaningful Impact By

• Provide Cardiac CT examinations (including but not limited to CT Coronary Angiography, Structural Heart CT scans and Calcium Scores) to patients with established CT practices whilst ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
• Provide careful andaccurateanalysis of imaging, including workup and vessel tracking on GE AW Workstation, and any urgent findings are relayed to reporting cardiologists asrequired.
• Perform any necessary administrative functionsrequiredto ensure patients examinations are completedin a timely manner.
• Liaise with Administration staff to ensure clinical lists and appointments are utilised effectively.
• Implement quality processes and mechanisms asrequiredand suggest positive improvements to systems, processes, procedures,workflowsand workloads to ensure the delivery of a quality testing service to Cardiology patients.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have

• Current Authority to Practice as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current EPA radiation licence.
• Experience in Cardiac CT imaging is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communicationthrough the use ofinformation technology and written, verbal and interpersonalskills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload. With the ability to effectively manage resources and competing priorities, and problem solving.
• Excellent patient care skills with a demonstrated ability to show a friendly,sensitiveand professional approach when dealing with our patients.
