Job summary

Advara HeartCare is seeking a Cardiac CT Radiographer to join our Doncaster clinic, delivering high-quality cardiac CT services in a state-of-the-art facility. You will collaborate with Cardiac CT Radiographers, Registered Nurses and admin staff to maintain timely, professional patient care.

Essentially, you will perform examinations, analyze imaging, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and excellent patient outcomes within a leading Australian heart care provider.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience in Cardiac CT imaging is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through IT and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cardiac CT examinations (CT Coronary Angiography, Structural Heart CT scans and Calcium Scores) to patients while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Perform analysis of imaging and vessel tracking on GE AW Workstation; relay urgent findings to reporting cardiologists as required.
• Carry out administrative tasks to ensure timely completion of examinations.
• Coordinate with Administration staff to ensure clinical lists and appointments are used effectively.
• Suggest improvements to systems, processes, workflows and workloads to deliver quality testing in Cardiology.

Operating within a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility, you'll be at the forefront of providing top-tier care in a dedicated environment.

In this role, collaboration is key.

You’ll collaborate closely with fellow Cardiac CT Radiographers, Registered Nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination of rostered lists, maintaining our high standards of patient care with timeliness and professionalism.

You’ll make a meaningful impact by:

• Provide Cardiac CT examinations (including but not limited to CT Coronary Angiography, Structural Heart CT scans and Calcium Scores) to patients with established CT practices whilst ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
• Provide careful and accurate analysis of imaging, including workup and vessel tracking on GE AW Workstation, and any urgent findings are relayed to reporting cardiologists as required.
• Perform any necessary administrative functions required to ensure patients examinations are completed in a timely manner.
• Liaise with Administration staff to ensure clinical lists and appointments are utilised effectively.
• Implement quality processes and mechanisms as required and suggest positive improvements to systems, processes, procedures, workflows and workloads to ensure the delivery of a quality testing service to Cardiology patients.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Current Authority to Practice as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current EPA radiation licence.
• Experience in Cardiac CT imaging is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonalskills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload. With the ability to effectively manage resources and competing priorities, and problem solving.
• Excellent patient care skills with a demonstrated ability to show a friendly, sensitive and professional approach when dealing with our patients.
