Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care before, during, and after interventional cardiac procedures within the Anaesthetics & Recovery section.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, at least 12 months of acute clinical experience, and expertise in Critical Care, Perioperative or Anaesthetic/Recovery care.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 12 months recent acute clinical experience.
• Critical Care, Perioperative or Anaesthetic/Recovery experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Willingness to complete education and competency assessments.

Responsabilités

• Provide care to patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.
• Deliver patient-centred care before, during and after procedures in Anaesthetics & Recovery.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team and maintain high-quality clinical standards.
• Engage in comprehensive orientation and competency-based training.
