Job summary

Ranges caravan customs in Riddells Creek, Vic is seeking a hands-on workshop professional for full-time, permanent work. You will tackle brakes, suspension, body repairs, custom fabrication, insurance repairs, plumbing, and auto-electrical tasks, with a friendly, upbeat team culture and predictable hours.

Expect supportive on-the-job training, a clean, well-equipped facility, and a role that values practical problem solving and craftsmanship over a fixed assembly line routine.

Qualifications

• Trade background in Automotive, Carpentry, Cabinet Making, or Auto Body Repairs.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic gear.
• Strong problem-solving and improvisation mindset.
• Excellent communication, time-management, and physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Brake, bearing, suspension and body servicing/repairs.
• Custom fabrication and alteration works.
• Insurance and cladding repairs (sealing & waterproofing).
• Plumbing and appliance fixes (fridges, hot water systems).
• 12V/240V auto electrical knowledge advantageous.

Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Early Friday finishes + BBQ lunch!)
Type: Full-Time / Permanent

What You Bring to the Workshop

• The Right Roots: A trade background in Automotive, Carpentry, Cabinet Making, or Auto Body Repairs.
• Tool Mastery: Serious competence with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic gear.
• MacGyver Energy: The ability to think outside the box when a standard manual doesn't have the answer.
• The Basics: A killer sense of humour, a great work ethic, crystal-clear communication, solid time-management, and the physical fitness to handle manual labour.
• Bonus Points: A forklift license is a massive plus!
